Dr. Shubhendu Mudgal has 30 years of experience in Public Health- Occupational & Environmental Health Management, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 & HACCP Auditing and system development with International Development organizations, apex industrial chambers, governmental, HSE Consulting, NGO and diverse industrial organizations in India, SE Asia. Africa and Europe. Associated with WHO as Occupational Health Coordinator for Liberia, West Africa for seven months during Ebola response and as Consultant Occupational health in emergencies at WHO, headquarter in Geneva, Switzerland for 21 months. Developed guidance documents and imparted capacity building training in Tanzania and South Africa. Worked as Consultant with South Asia Sustainable Development unit of The World Bank ( 2005-2010). . Conducted implementation monitoring reviews of environment management plans of projects and programs and technical assistance for guidance documents. Experience of conducting Health Impact Assessments covering major riverGanga, air, water, land pollution ( Healthcare wastes) and odour pollution from hazardous chemicals. Associated as International Training Consultant for capacity building of Institute of Standards, Government of Cambodia through capacity building workshops, Technical Expert and Lead Auditor with Certification agencies and international HSE Consultancies. Associated with Confederation of Indian Industry Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Development since 2000. Speak fluent English and Hindi and working knowledge of French, Bengali and Punjabi languages.
